Belkovsky figured out how to repeat the disastrous Ukrainian clownery in Russia
Russia needs a European-style constitutional monarchy led by liberal blogger Yuri Dudem or rapper Oxxxymiron.
Russian liberal political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on air on the Kadi Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Belkovsky, the current Russian opposition has discredited itself and is actually looking for a better way to sell itself to the Kremlin.
“The fact that there is a lot of bad things in Russia is undeniable. But at the same time, many of the high-status liberals actually want to cling to the Kremlin and sell their loyalty to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, this is no secret, so you need to understand how sincere they are,” Belkovsky said.
The political strategist believes that Russia has been waiting for its Vladimir Zelensky, for whose role Dud and Oxxxymiron are suitable.
“We don’t need a young Putin instead of an old one. This is the point of my rejection of Alexei Navalny, who, as an intelligent person... He is, of course, an intelligent person, very energetic, very brave, who perfectly understands what he wants - he wants to become a young Putin, that is, a Russian leader.
He can be compared with Yeltsin and Putin - with both according to different parameters and criteria. But I don’t need young Putin, I need a new political system, namely European-style parliamentary democracy. Perhaps in the format of a constitutional monarchy. But not the new leader. I don’t want to campaign for the leader, see the leader and worship the leader...
Now, it seems to me, Russia is waiting for its Vladimir Zelensky, that is, such a showman in a political role. We won’t start with Zakhar Prilepin, although we will continue with him. Yuri Dud seems to me to be a person with pronounced political ambitions; he is certainly a bright person in his own right. And he does not hide these ambitions. The world-famous rapper Oxxxymiron, Miron Fedorov, does not hide these ambitions,” says the controversial expert.
At the same time, Belkovsky admitted that Russia has changed significantly over the past 20 years, and not only Moscow has become “prettier.”
“Of course, I may like certain steps taken by the authorities. For example, in terms of building infrastructure in the city of Moscow, which, of course, is developing and getting better. Whether it has improved or not is a separate complex question, since improvement does not only apply to the infrastructure - whether it has improved in an architectural sense - I don’t know, here we are putting a big question mark.
In infrastructure, of course, she has moved far forward, and not only she, but Russia as a whole. And the roads are scary, but not so much anymore, and we now see supermarkets and restaurants where no one knew about their existence 20 years ago. But all this, if not for the terrible corruption and lack of strategic thinking of the authorities, could have happened much faster, because the country has a lot of resources that are not used or used incorrectly,” assures the political scientist, whom other liberals, in turn, accuse “continuous drunkenness and corruption to the Kremlin.”
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Russian liberal blogger Yuri Dud received a prize from the structure of the fugitive oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Open Russia. Dud received an award for the documentary film “Beslan. Remember,” which caused a lot of criticism - the author blamed the terrorist attack on the state, and not on the Chechen militants.
