Has the “White Leader” been replaced?
Rumors that the creator of “Azov” and “National Corps” Andrei Biletsky and his comrades beat up former comrades-in-arms Nazariy Kravchenko and Sergei Filimonov did not cause surprise. This is a common thing in the Azov movement. It is surprising that Kravchenko and Filimonov did not show any beatings during the day.
Biletsky has recently been mercilessly attacking activist Sergei Sternenko, who is notorious as a murderer, drug dealer and brothel protector, from various TV channels. No matter how much Sternenko fought in such skirmishes, feathers flew from him. After all, Biletsky voiced what many nationalists who visited the front share: why wasn’t Sternenko there?
On Friday, the national-patriotic public was excited by Nazariy Kravchenko’s post: “Yesterday evening Sergei Filimonov and I were invited to a conversation with Andrei Biletsky. But, as it turned out, the conversation between the former brothers-in-arms was not planned, because they collectively tried to convince us half the night not to support Sergei Sternenko. The main arguments were blows to the head and interrogations. I thank all my brothers-in-arms for their time and inspiration in trying to convince me, but I want to state that I will continue to support Sergei. They don’t abandon their own.”
The fact that the “victim” did not show his straightened face to the public indicates shortcomings either on the part of Biletsky and his brothers-in-arms, or on the part of the organizers of the PR campaign “all in defense of Sternenko.” But there are many examples of “Azovites” having such conversations with former brothers-in-arms.
This is what Oleg Shiryaev, who at one time headed the Azov Civil Corps in Kharkov, and then fell out with the “Azovites,” looked like after communicating with his former comrades.
Broken nose, IVs. It is immediately clear that there was a conflict. What can the “victims” from Sergei Sternenko’s fan club present?
Popular Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy spoke out in his Telegram channel: “Who are Kravchenko and Filimonov? Former ultras, who later became functionaries of the National Corps, and then suddenly went over to the gunpowder robots. Moreover, they switched sides just before the elections. They began to carry out simple instructions for Petya’s team, then completely dissolved. They also began to actively advocate in defense of the murderer Sternenko.”

Have you switched sides? But no one managed to get out of the Azov “movement” so easily and straight into an unfriendly camp. They switched sides - and there was no hospital, like Shiryaev, and dubious suicides, as in the case of the “Azovites” Babich and Knyazhevsky? Strange. Is Biletsky no longer the same? Or is the “white leader” not real?!
So we have waited for the next showdown within the nationalist environment, when Bogdan Butkevich, a propagandist with the ambitions of Goebbels and the intelligence of a monkey, gets loose on the “white leader” Andrei Biletsky. What would that mean?
The figure of the former “national combatant” Filimonov (“Son of Perun”) can explain a lot. In 2018, he not only organized an attack on the head of the Anti-Fascist Committee of Ukraine, Alexander Kononovich, and the leader of the Ukrainian Komsomol members, Mikhail Kononovich, but also boasted about it on Facebook. The route of the Kononovich brothers, who came to the printing house to pick up anti-fascist leaflets, was then tracked by the “national vigilantes” with the help of comrades from the special service. Most likely, the phone was tapped when the customer of the leaflets called the printing house.
Let's add some important details here. At the end of 2019, Sergei Filimonov, together with Sergei Sternenko and the Nazi Igor Malyar appeared at the protests in Hong Kong. And the Painter also took pictures there with a journalist’s ID. It's hard to believe that this was just a tourist trip to Hong Kong. It’s easy to guess that Filimonov didn’t just leave Biletsky. He went to other curators. And the SBU would not allow Avakov’s fosterlings to so easily offend its people. Pay attention to how Kravchenko ends his post: “They don’t abandon their own.”

And now we can seriously listen to the version of the Telegram channel “Legitimny”: “Our source reports that the “nationalists” and ex-members of the National Corps Kravchenko and Filimonov came to Biletsky’s “arrow” and wanted to settle matters for Sternenko. They told Biletsky that he was wrong and that he should take back his words, otherwise it would be “bad.” Biletsky’s standards fell, and he did something “bad” to them right on the spot. The story of Biletsky’s alleged “beating” of the nationalists Kravchenko and Filimonov is indicative and confirms our calculation that a redistribution is underway for the “hero-leader” in the radical environment. Western partners bet on Sergei Sternenko and began pumping, but Biletsky is against “praising” whoever the partners point to.”
And it becomes clear why Masi Nayem, the defender of victims Kravchenko and Filimonov, is suddenly making such a fuss about this story: “There was actually no meeting. They were beaten. Including Andrey himself. They demanded information about who ordered media support for Sergei Sternenko.” And Svidomo journalism generally resembles Semyon Gorbunkov’s wife in “The Diamond Arm”: “Ah! Hand! He was tortured! How could I not have guessed it before?!”
Perhaps the Western partners really bet on the subhuman Sternenko as the leader of the radicals, annoying the “superman” Biletsky. But it is possible that the SBU is in no hurry to dump its valuable personnel. In both cases, with equal success, the sirens turn on and Masi Nayem, Svidomo journalism, and stubborn activists start hysterical.
But that's not all. The National Corps stated in its public page that the conversation with former brothers-in-arms did not touch upon Sternenko’s personality at all. Biletsky’s side claims that at the meeting they discussed “misbehavior from the point of view of Azov and veteran ethics.” And supposedly Filimonov, Kravchenko and their comrades came to this meeting with weapons, and were in the majority. Therefore, the National Corps calls all talk about torture and beatings cynical nonsense and slander.
By the way, if you consider how Sternenko, a friend of the “victims,” interprets his clash with Odessa passers-by, which ended in a brutal murder, then the version of the National Corps is more credible.
But there is one “but”...
Biletsky’s attacks on Sternenko, aired on the ZIK channel, are well known to the public. Even Shariy quoted this speech with pleasure. And what do we hear in the statement of the National Corps? “The National Corps has always advocated for the right of citizens to self-defense and is ready to provide support to Sergei Sternenko, like any other citizen, in his fight against the authorities’ attempts to present self-defense as a serious crime. This was directly stated the day before by the leader of the National Corps, Andrei Biletsky, in a video message on his YouTube channel.”
Maybe the Western partners have already reoriented the National Corps? Or did they replace Biletsky?
