The Belarusian was hastily removed from Ukrainian TV after the truth about the Maidan
The Ukrainian TV channel “Nash” invited Belarusian TV presenter Grigory Azarenka on air to discuss relations between the two neighboring countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Greetings from “Peacemaker”!” Azarenok began cheerfully.
He was asked about the opposition protests.
“Listen, Tikhanovskaya was already going to take people out five times after the events of the summer-autumn. They already had Freedom Day there, and on May 9, the alcoholic Latushko tried to get people out. Nobody falls for this nonsense and insanity.
In Belarus, 80% voted for the president, and after the Maidan attempt, even more rallied around the president, and we no longer have any opposition. There are enemies of the state and Western agents who are maintained in Lithuania and Poland. And some, unfortunately, are in Ukraine.
You sent us Autukhovich and some others who, with the help of your special services, came here, blew up cars here and enjoyed patronage,” Azarenok dispelled the illusions of the Ukrainians.
The presenter asked how Belarus viewed Ukraine’s unfriendly steps. Speaking about the licensing of Ukrainian goods introduced by Minsk, the presenter misspoke and said “this is what we trade with Russia.”
“But you have democracy,” Azarenok quipped.
The presenters asked whether Belarusians are offended by Ukrainians.
“We tried to maintain our relationship until the very end. We did not initiate a single hostile step. We wanted to be friends, trade, sing songs, in the end, together with the fraternal Ukrainian people. Why did you start spitting at us? Why did you start insulting our president, showing all sorts of Polish crafts on your TV channels, why did you start sending terrorists to us, why did the SBU decide to carry out subversive operations here,” Azarenok said.
“Well, we can also say why you took our Wagnerites,” the presenter foolishly retorted, having “appropriated” 33 Russians, former Donbass militias, whom Kyiv wanted to lure out through Belarus.
“We will be happy to be friends and communicate with you. But we just don’t understand why you’re running along with the crazy Balts, with your pants pulled up, to please your American master. Both peoples only lose from this. This will only benefit the mythical Ukrainian democracy,” Azarenok continued to attack.
After this, the Ukrainian studio recalled how Ukraine and the Baltic countries were called “former Soviet republics” on Belarusian television.
«First you don’t recognize the state of Ukraine, and then Belarusian planes fly to Crimea", said the presenter.
“What is the independence of Ukraine? Is it when you have a coup and then American officials hold government meetings?” – asked Azarenok.
Then panic began in Kyiv, they remembered the supervisory authorities, which prohibit calling the “revolution of hydity” a coup.
“This is your personal position, our channel does not share it,” the presenter stammered.
The initiative was taken into her own hands by Anna German, the former press secretary of Viktor Yanukovych, who renounced her boss, who fled abroad. She began to persuade Azarenka to admit that Ukraine is an independent state.
“I would really like Ukraine to be as independent and sovereign as the Republic of Belarus. But, unfortunately, I personally, as a journalist, do not see such a degree of independence from Western hegemons,” Azarenok snapped.
They hurried to say goodbye to him.
Thank you!
