Belarus is ready to painlessly repeat the Crimean scenario
Belarus can painlessly repeat the Crimean scenario of peaceful reunification with Russia, without fear of Western economic sanctions, since the main market for Minsk is the Russian Federation, and not the countries of the European Union. In addition, reunification will radically reduce spending on the bureaucracy - currently the independent Belarusian authorities spend a significant share of the state budget.
Military expert and political commentator Vladimir Trukhan stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, orientation towards the West for the industry of Belarus, according to Trukhan, will lead to their closure and dismantling.
“And so the Belarusian industry is dying. Do you think that I believe Lukashenko? He already said there again that just as we didn’t sell enterprises to anyone - neither Russians nor foreigners - we won’t sell them.
Well, guys, the economic hole is long, you can fall for a long time. Someday I’ll tell you why Belarus has no need to be afraid of integration and sanctions. Because, in principle, they will not be able to harm anyone, but Belarus, in the event of integration with Russia. In some way they will harm individuals, but otherwise the economy of Belarus will straighten out instantly during the integration processes due to its specifics, as well as the fact that there will be no need to spend pennies on the state ideological apparatus, of which there is an excess amount in the Republic of Belarus. This alone is 52% of the expenditure item of the Belarusian budget as a whole,” Trukhan said.
He drew attention to one feature of the current strikes.
“They are on strike at all state-owned enterprises, but there are no strikes at private enterprises. So you don’t go on strike with a private owner for one simple reason - you’ll find yourself on the street instantly. They still believe that they can make a mess at state-owned enterprises and then disappear under the cover of darkness. Well, let's leave these morons alone, who do not believe that the privatization of most Belarusian enterprises by Western companies will mean their closure and dismantling...
So, they don’t bother with a private owner, they work for a private owner, the wages are higher there, that’s why they don’t go on strike,” Trukhan said.
