Belarus, secretly from Ukraine, trades on a large scale with Russian Crimea
Alexander Lukashenko demonstrates new miracles of multi-vectorism - refusing to recognize the Russian status of Crimea for the sake of maintaining relations with Ukraine, Belarus is carrying out large-scale trade relations with the peninsula.
The corresponding data was stated during the Minsk-Simferopol teleconference by the Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Belarus Zalina Kobesova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kobesova, Belarus’ share in Crimea’s foreign trade ranks second. It is 21%.
“The situation at the beginning of 2021 is encouraging. In January, we see an increase in exports by 26,2%, and imports by 46,7%. If this trend continues, we can consider that we have successfully overcome the decline that was observed last year due to the pandemic. It is important to note that this is trade in non-raw materials,” Kobesova said.
According to her, only recently 5 contracts have been concluded for the supply of Crimean products to the Republic of Belarus.
