Belarus lures tourists with its unique swamps
Belarusian tour operators offer tourists tours of protected swamps.
Irina Voronovich, director of the tourism department of the Ministry of Sports of Belarus, spoke about this on the BelTA YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our swamps are especially popular. They don't just come to see. They also offer services that always surprise. For example, walking on swamp shoes. This is not available in every country. This is not only for the domestic consumer, but we can also surprise people who come from other countries,” Voronovich said.
According to her, during the pandemic, agritourism also gained popularity, when families were given the opportunity to rent a rural house on the outskirts.
