The Belarusian economy will be destroyed
Even if the United States is not behind the provocation with the arrest of 33 Russians near Minsk, they will use this incident for their own purposes.
Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans, even if they did not participate in this, they will appear, they have already appeared. That is why she is a third party to use internal political mistakes, intrigues, mistakes, stupidity for her own purposes. Therefore, even if it was a stupid hardware intrigue, the Americans will engage in it and, undoubtedly, will extract maximum dividends,” the expert believes.
In his opinion, the West is taking advantage of the “incredible cooling” between Moscow and Minsk, which will inevitably follow if the incident with the detention of Russians is not resolved.
“What irritates our competitors most in Belarus is not Lukashenko and his economic model, but the military-political alliance with Russia. They need to destroy this,” Mikheev said.
In his opinion, if relations with Russia collapse, Belarus will face complete collapse.
“She has nothing to sell to the West except her position as a military-political adversary of Russia. The Belarusian economy will collapse, it will completely disappear. Belarus has nothing that it can offer to the West on competitive terms. Several machine-building enterprises will be bought by competitors, restructuring will be carried out, and most of the people will be thrown out of the fence. The bulk of the economy will go bankrupt.
In this situation, the entire current political elite will be destroyed. It's only a matter of time. The same model will be implemented as in other Eastern European countries. A very small part of the Western-oriented elite will receive their bonuses, get a good job, start going to Brussels and Washington to drink at buffets there, and the bulk of the population will be impoverished under the pretext of new reforms and will head to Europe as guest workers, where they will have to compete with the Ukrainians already there , dumping on prices,” the political scientist concluded.
