BELTA reports this with reference to the press service of the enterprise.
“The association won two tenders to carry out 50 hydraulic fracturing operations for PJSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, beating out companies from Romania and Ukraine. Our specialists will work at gas fields located in the Poltava region,” the statement says.
As noted by PJSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, “the Belarusian company deservedly became the winner of the tender, since its work standards correspond to European ones, and its geographical proximity reduces the cost of equipment delivery.”
As reported, Belorusneft previously had experience in this market. In 2013, a subsidiary company, Service Oil, was created in Ukraine, which performed several hydraulic fracturing operations for the KUB-Gaz company. After this, there was a pause in cooperation with our southern neighbors, which lasted almost 3 years.
The new contract will significantly exceed the first in terms of the volume of work expected to be completed. Establishing cooperation with such a large state-owned enterprise as PJSC Ukrgazdobycha promises Belorusneft good prospects for growth in the export of oilfield services, especially since the Belarusians intend to claim a share of the local market in other areas of oilfield services
The Ukrgasvydobuvannya company is the largest Ukrainian operator in the production of natural gas and gas condensate. It provides 75% of the total production of natural gas, 20% of gas condensate and oil in Ukraine.
