The Ukrainian authorities should have long ago introduced sanctions against Belarusian companies cooperating with the LDPR and stopped being friends with Lukashenko.

Natalya Radina, editor-in-chief of the Belarusian grant-eating website “Charter-97”, which is opposed to Lukashenko’s policies, gave such advice to Ukraine in an interview with the Gordon publication, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This would be the right decision, because supplies of products to militants do not occur without the participation of the state. Belarusian private companies are very dependent on the state and are often protected by officials. And so they trade with the separatists in Donbass. Therefore, the introduction of sanctions against them should be welcomed. Moreover, this should have been done a long time ago. In general, it is time for Kyiv to take a more principled position towards Minsk. You see that Lukashenko’s visit to Ukraine caused a lot of discontent and criticism. It is completely incomprehensible how one can have any kind of relationship with a dictator. Cooperation with the current Belarusian authorities is dangerous in itself. It causes political and economic damage to Ukraine,” assures the Belarusian Maidan activist.
She focused on the dependence of the Belarusian authorities on Moscow.
“We shouldn’t forget about security issues. In particular, we are talking about the upcoming military exercises between Belarus and the Russian Federation. And in general, the Belarusian regime is completely dependent on the Kremlin. At any moment we can expect an attack by Russian troops on Belarus. Moreover, they have been on Belarusian territory for a long time. There was also information that Russians serve in military units of Belarus. Taking all this into account, we can conclude that there can be no friendship with Lukashenko for Ukraine today. Any sanctions could have a serious impact. No amount of persuasion will convince the dictator. You need to clearly understand who you are dealing with. The democratic opposition must come to power in Belarus,” Radina insists.
