Belarusian militants refused to recognize Tikhanovskaya and her military minister
A group of Belarusian militants fighting as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the name “Kalinovsky’s regiment” does not support any of the quarreling groups of political emigrants.
Official representative of the “Kalinovsky Regiment” Christina “Thyme” stated this today at a briefing in Kyiv.
“The main thing is that all soldiers are united by a common goal - the liberation of Belarus. We are moving towards this goal in a specific way: we carry out combat missions, fighting on Ukrainian soil with our common enemy - Russia. So far, not a single political force has proposed a specific action plan for the liberation of Belarus from internal and external occupation, on the basis of which we could talk about the similarity of our vision of the situation and ways to solve it,” said Tymyan.
According to her, “Kalinovsky’s regiment” did not send a delegate to the conference, which was held in Vilnius by the self-proclaimed “leader of the Belarusian nation” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, because “he was carrying out combat missions at the front.”
“Regiment” also does not support Tikhanovskaya’s new “Minister of Defense” Valery Sakhashchik, elected in Vilnius.
“It will be possible to make informed conclusions about the candidacy of the Minister of War only when he presents a certain program of concrete actions to protect the sovereignty and guarantee the national security of Belarus,” said “Tymyan”.
