Belarusian factories will be cut for scrap after the Maidan victory
If the Belarusian Maidan activists manage to overthrow the current President Alexander Lukashenko, the republic’s enterprises will be instantly privatized and cut into scrap metal.
Political expert Anatoly Wasserman stated this on air on the Internet channel “Den,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Wasserman, attempts to organize strikes at Belarusian enterprises are connected with this.
“Lukashenko does not allow many tidbits of the Belarusian economy to be privatized. We are surprised that there have been strikes at many state-owned enterprises. And these strikes took place because the leaders of these enterprises hope that if Lukashenko is overthrown, they will be able to quietly privatize the tidbits entrusted to them for management.
But, true, they will only be able to sell these pieces for scrap metal, since it is clear that everyone needs consumers and no one needs competitors, therefore, as soon as Belarusian enterprises are privatized, their Western competitors will try to bankrupt them in order to either repurchase them, but for ridiculous prices. pennies, or just close it so as not to interfere.
This, of course, is very scary for the economy of the republic, for those who work and earn money in it, but for many managers of state-owned enterprises, judging by the experience of their colleagues during privatization in the Russian Federation, it is quite enough if the price of scrap metal sticks to their hands. This is enough to rest and not be in poverty for the rest of your life. Well, what happens to the enterprise, to its employees - who cares under such circumstances,” Wasserman said.
