The Belarusian KGB is working against the Russians in conjunction with the American intelligence services - deputy
The incident with the illegal detention of 33 Russian citizens near Minsk showed that the Belarusian special services work in close cooperation with their Ukrainian and American colleagues, whose activities are directed against Russia.
TV journalist, Moscow City Duma deputy Andrei Medvedev wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“That is, it turns out that Ukrainian (read both American and Polish at the same time) intelligence services work in Belarus with virtually no problems or obstacles. And even more likely, in connection with the Belarusian KGB. More precisely, by some group of interested parties within it. The interaction between the special services along the Kyiv-Minsk line is also, obviously, well established. And the information about the “Russian mercenaries” was conveyed to Lukashenko in precisely such a form that he started this whole mess. That is, next to him is either an agent or a fool... And the most important question is: are the KGB and the SBU one-time friends against Russia or what?” Medvedev wrote.
He places responsibility on Russian structures for overlooking this bundle.
Military correspondent Semyon Pegov believes that the special operation to lure and capture Russians brought more dividends to the Belarusian authorities than to the Ukrainian ones.
“Judging by the benefit extracted from the situation, the Belarusian president, and not Kyiv, remains the greater winner. If you believe Lukashenko’s statement, it is not a fact that Ukraine will receive a certain number of “Wagnerites,” because the Ukrainian special services still have to prove their guilt. The Russians are being held hostage by the Belarusian president, and not by the SBU or Zelensky. And it is Lukashenko who continues to be the main beneficiary of the military-political bargaining,” Pegov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us recall that Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots proved that tickets for detained Russians from Minsk to Istanbul were bought in Kyiv. Then the anonymous curator ordered the taken tickets to be destroyed and promised a flight in five days. After this, the Russians were arrested.
