The Belarusian Maidan awakened hysterical Polish ambitions for the Third Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
The excitement, hysteria and avalanche of fakes in the Polish media around the Belarusian Maidan can be explained, among other things, by the awakening of Warsaw’s appetite for Minsk if the campaign to separate Belarus from Russia is successful.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I see how excited the Polish media are about the possibility of Belarus separating from Russia. At the same time, there is mass hysteria due to the fact that they are afraid that Russia will now attack, these fakes that Radio Liberty spread were also actively spread in Belarus that Russia is preparing to send in troops.
This also coincided with the centenary of the “miracle on the Vistula”; mass celebrations took place in Warsaw in connection with the centenary of repelling the Bolshevik attack on Warsaw. And that’s all - then we defended the second Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, now the time has come for the third.
And the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in fact, is the land on which there is now Lithuania, Poland, part of Ukraine to Kiev and all of Belarus... They do not hide that they want to restore, in their preamble to the Constitution the official name of the state is now the Third Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth - the current name of Poland .
Moreover, the second is this year 1920, when they had already captured Minsk, captured Vilna, Kyiv, and thought that these borders would be secured. And now here is such an opportunity. That’s why there is such excitement, such intensity of passions, all sorts of emotions in the entire Polish press,” Kornilov said.
“And they are not shy about anything! I just imagined a picture if there were some American citizen in Russia, two or three citizens who would simply lead the actions of “Black Lives Matter” in New York: now we are blocking Times Square, now we are going something storm.
This is not just coordination, this is a direct order coming from Poland. Can you imagine what would happen if we did something like this? This would indeed be a gross interference. But for the Poles, it’s possible,” the expert stated.
