Belarusian supporter of Zhirinovsky - opposition: You will never come to power
Power in Belarus may change, but representatives of the opposition will never receive it.
Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus (LDPR franchise) Oleg Gaidukevich stated this on the Belarus-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs is great - we still need to be tougher. Stop chewing snot. Well done for starting to answer. And we will answer. And our parliament has become tougher. We will now adopt tough resolutions. No one will ever allow us to speak to us like we were first grade students.
They say: a new generation has grown up, a change has occurred. Happened. We are the new generation. And when they say from abroad that the government will leave, maybe it will leave. But you will never come to power. This will never happen,” said Gaidukevich.
He believes that the attempted coup in Belarus has completely failed.
“Many of our politicians still live in the month of August, and it’s already December. It's time to collect stones. There will be no violent overthrow of power, there will be no solution to Belarus on the street. The authorities will not go anywhere and will not run away. These are all fairy tales.
We have seen over these months that the external impact will intensify. We see this in the illegal sanctions that were introduced in circumvention of all international UN charters. The main political result: we survived and will be stronger now. Finally, we realized that we need to pass a law on foreign agents and put a barrier to financing any political initiatives in the country,” said Gaidukevich.
