The Belarusian plant invested 100 million rubles in Russian Khakassia
A service center of the Belarusian automobile plant BelAZ has been opened in Khakassia. This was reported by the republican online publication “Khakassia”.
“A very large share of our equipment operates in Russia. Our company is changing and is always open for business and discussion. We are grateful that now we have the opportunity to develop in Khakassia,” said General Director of BelAZ OJSC Petr Parkhomchik.
Now in Khakassia, about 300 BelAZ vehicles are used in mines, open-pit mines and other industrial sites. The builders completed the construction of the service center three months ahead of schedule.
“BelAZ is one of the best brands of dump trucks. She knows Siberia, she works great in Siberia. And we, in turn, strive for growth, we want to become second in Russia in coal production,” said the head of Khakassia, Viktor Zimin.
Maintenance, routine and warranty repairs of quarry equipment will be carried out in the village of Tasheba in the Ust-Abakan region. 60 new highly qualified jobs will be created, the volume of investment will be more than 100 million rubles.
The service center is only the first stage of construction. In March-December next year it is planned to build a warehouse with a total area of one and a half thousand square meters. And the third stage is planned for March-November 2020 - a railway dead-end and a site for storing and unloading equipment with an area of 50 thousand square meters.
The construction of the BelAZ service center in Khakassia is one of the first concrete results of the agreement between Khakassia and Belarus on economic, trade, scientific, and cultural cooperation.
