Belarusian military personnel are being transferred to Russia
Groups of Belarusian military personnel were deployed today to the Nizhny Novgorod and Ulyanovsk regions of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A combined company of Belarusian military personnel went to the Mulino training ground in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Motorized riflemen and tank crews will take part in a joint Belarusian-Russian tactical exercise. The military personnel will work on the issue of combating unmanned aerial vehicles of a mock enemy,” the message says.
The exercise is the next stage of preparation for the main event of the academic year – the joint strategic exercise of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia “Zapad-2021”.
In addition, a group of Belarusian paratroopers flew to the Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation. A battalion tactical exercise is planned there at the Polivna training ground. Belarusians and Russians will learn to conduct joint peacekeeping operations. The training will take place from March 9 to March 20.
