Belarusian state security needs to tear off its shoulder straps - Strelkov
The Belarusian authorities could have avoided mass rallies and accusations of unjustified use of force by riot police if the Belarusian KGB officers had worked adequately.
The former commander of the Donbass militia, ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov said this on the You-Tube channel “RI”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“State security has completely failed, completely. What difference does it make - sabotage, deliberate encouragement - not only did they actually raise, relatively speaking, Litvins, this is understandable. It cannot happen without this, but there are two tasks of state security in such a situation.
The first is to adequately inform management—not to report to them what you want. This is why state security exists, to report what really is, and not what the leadership wants.
This did not happen, this definitely did not happen, otherwise Lukashenko would not have behaved this way. At least, it’s so stupid, and now he wouldn’t have to spin around like a snake in a frying pan, traveling around factories, work collectives, and so on.
Surely they reported to him that: “Everything is fine, everything is fine! The people are for you, the people will vote for you, you are following the right course, Alexander Grigorievich. Hooray! Hooray! Hurray” - this is a failure, you need to tear your shoulder straps for this, because these people are no longer professional, no longer capable. We have had this for a long time, a tradition since Soviet times, in 1991 the same thing happened before,” Strelkov said.
“Secondly, even if for some reason they could not report to the great leader and teacher, for example, because they reported and slammed the door - without the same epaulettes for retirement. Even if not, it was possible to prepare for certain actions in advance. Which one?
The law of any state security sounds like this: if they start shooting at you, and even if you win, this is already a complete failure. When there is a crowd, there are probably organizers - yes, there may not be very many of them, but there must be them: coordinators, organizers. And chasing them at rallies, snatching them from the crowd is a complete failure, this may be what the police should do, but this is the last line of defense. These people must be identified and neutralized in advance, isolated...
If they didn’t do this, if they led to fights, blood, beatings and mass arrests, it means it’s already a failure. The second failure was indeed not predicted by the mass protests and they were not prepared for them,” the former Minister of Defense of the DPR emphasized.
