Beloyarsk NPP became the first victim of disruption of industrial supplies from Ukraine
Moscow - Kyiv, April 29 (Navigator - Mikhail Stamm) - The severance of ties with Ukrainian enterprises has already affected the construction of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant in the Sverdlovsk region. Rosenergoatom doesn’t know what to do.

One of the striking examples of the consequences of breaking ties with Ukrainian industrialists is the delay in commissioning the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant unit in the Sverdlovsk region, writes NG. A week ago, Deputy General Director of Rosenergoatom Pavel Ipatov explained this fact by the delay in supplies of equipment from Ukraine. “This problem has not yet been solved, and today we are looking for ways to create such fittings at factories in Russia. “We have a rather difficult situation,” Ipatov said. – In Russia, it is not easy to develop and test new valves in such a short time. We are trying to solve the problem of supplying Ukrainian fittings, but significant efforts are required because the crisis there is in an acute phase. And it is very difficult to conduct any negotiations.”
Let us recall that in mid-April the state concern Ukroboronprom suspended military-technical cooperation with Russia. In the defense complex alone, more than 1000 industrial enterprises in Russia and Ukraine were involved in technological ties. It will be extremely difficult to replace the products of the largest Ukrainian enterprises - such as the Dnepropetrovsk Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, the Kiev state-owned enterprise Antonov, the Zaporozhye aircraft engine plant Motor Sich, the Dneprovsky Machine-Building Plant and many others.
