“We have no confirmation of this. Ukraine is defending its country, so I’m just not going to talk hypothetically,” Psaki said.

When asked about the US attitude to the fact that Ukraine could or should shell Russian territory, Psaki again refused to answer specifically:

“Again, this is hypothetical, so I won't talk about it. Ukraine is being invaded. Russia is invading their country. This is what we support them for. And there was no confirmation of what you detail. So I just won't talk about it."
