The White House sings Tsoi's song to Zelensky
The United States is constantly keeping in mind the possibility of quickly distancing itself from participation in the Ukrainian conflict.
Political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev stated this in an interview with Sputnik radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The White House and the Biden administration are performing Viktor Tsoi’s song for Vladimir Zelensky: “Everyone says that we are together, but not many know in which.” They say: go ahead, push, and then they declare that they have nothing to do with it. “We are not the ones doing military planning.” Although a month ago the same people were proud that they were leading the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They pass on intelligence data and establish a staff culture, which is absolutely true.
And now complicity in the conflict in Ukraine is becoming less and less fashionable for both the American elite and public opinion. Now they say: “Strikes on Crimea? That's all of them. We have nothing to do with it." Although everyone knows very well that only US citizens, military personnel, who, if anything, will be retroactively fired for immorality, work as Hymers operators.
But the public change in the US position is absolutely obvious. This is a neat, face-saving gradual distancing of Mr. Zelensky from the North Military District and the conflict around Ukraine. The idea behind this is simple: by the end of the year, the conflict in Ukraine should become an exclusively European war,” Evstafiev said.
He believes that such a policy “will not work” in the United States.
