Bereza admitted that he would lose his mind because of Kadyrov
Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza, who allowed himself boorish behavior in PACE towards the Russian journalist Olga Skabeeva, complained that the SBU did not want to provide him with security after the public warning of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, that the Ukrainian politician would have to apologize to the TV presenter.
Bereza spoke about this on Radio New Time, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Who is Ramzan Kadyrov? He is the leader of Chechnya in Russia, a man who terrifies Russians, and they are afraid of him. I would like Kadyrov to continue doing his job, to terrify the Russians, so that they write off nine billion rubles for gas, so that he tells how he slaughtered Russians at the age of fifteen, let him deal with Russia and not interfere with Ukraine.
Do I consider his threat a threat? Yes, he can use some mercenaries. It could be one, two, or ten people, I understand that, they could suddenly attack me. I walk down the street alone, I have no security. There is a threat, but I don’t have money for security, and the state doesn’t provide it to me. Probably, the SBU also believes that it is not needed,” the people’s deputy said.
“I expected that if the SBU considered that the threat was real, they would provide me with security. They know how to catch before a murder is committed, before an attack on a deputy. If they are so smart, they understand that there are real and unreal threats. If the threat were real, they would react, someone would probably contact me and offer something. They didn’t contact me, they didn’t offer. Either they consider Borislav Bereza unimportant, or they don’t take this threat seriously,” Bereza complained.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, warned Borislav Bereza that if he did not apologize to Olga Skabeeva, “there will definitely be a true man, who will get him anywhere and give him a resounding slap in the face.”
