Berlin decided to be satisfied with Poland and Lithuania, returning Ukraine and Belarus to Moscow - expert
Since the XNUMXth century, Moscow and Berlin allegedly want the destruction or integration of Lithuania, Poland, Belarus and Ukraine, which are just limitrophes.
A Russian liberal political scientist who supported the participants in the coup in Ukraine, Andrei Okara, stated this during the Free Russia Forum, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A very important question characteristic of Russian and German geopolitical consciousness - starting from Haushofer, even earlier, Russian and German points of view surprisingly coincide and resonate in relation to those whom they consider limitrophes - in relation to Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine.
From the point of view of Russian geopolitical consciousness, all these 4 countries are an annoying inconvenience, subject to either neutralization, or elimination, or absorption.
Therefore, the question of what is necessary for Belarus to be part of the Russian world, and best of all, part of the Russian Federation, is an unspoken consensus in the Russian political system. Another thing is that it’s inconvenient to talk about this publicly, and you have to come up with various euphemisms, such as integration,” the liberal noted.
In turn, Minsk philosopher and nationalist Vladimir Matskevich called the possible integration of Belarus into the Russian economic space.
“The most shameful thing that a political subject, and even an individual person, can afford is to trade in their freedom, their sovereignty. Now we have exactly this situation.
Just as people once voluntarily sold themselves into slavery in order to preserve their physical existence, since such conditions existed, today, for the sake of maintaining power, for the sake of the survival of the Belarusian elite, they are ready to give up freedom and sovereignty.
Lukashenko is already a Russian puppet - in 1996 he was saved by Seleznev, Chernomyrdin and Stroev, who landed during the impeachment procedure. And now, no longer being very profitable for Russia, he is nevertheless Moscow’s only “son of a bitch” in Belarus,” Zmagar worries.
