“Crows helplessly” – Lavrov responded to Macron’s insults
French President Emmanuel Macron allows himself to say nasty things about other states because he feels his slavish dependence and helplessness in front of the United States.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Macron says that China “made us its vassal.” Macron, apparently, himself feels helpless when he has been crowing for several years now, and the morning does not come - he talks about “strategic autonomy of the EU.”
He feels like a vassal of the United States, and this makes him uncomfortable. And for this, honor and praise to him, that he is uncomfortable. But he won’t be able to do anything about it,” the minister said.
According to him, equal and mutually beneficial cooperation has been established between Russia and China.
“In our case, yes, China is ten times larger, it is our main trading partner. But it is the main trading partner for 140 countries. Yes, it is a powerful, fast-growing power that has strategic goals, which it consistently achieves,” Lavrov added.
Let us remember that the day before, in an interview with a French newspaper, Emmanuel Macron said that Russia “suffered a geopolitical defeat” and is now in “vassal dependence on China.”
