Unrest in the center of Kyiv: The storming of the city hall has begun
Representatives of radical Ukrainian nationalist parties attempted to storm the Kyiv city hall, demanding that tariffs not be raised.
The rioters tried to break into the session hall of the City Council in order to force municipal deputies to prevent an increase in fares, but the police kept the protesters in the hall.
Social activist Sergei Kutsenko explained that the management of Kievpasstrans and the Kyiv Metro, in turn, brought their employees to Khreshchatyk to support the initiative to raise fares.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Kyiv city authorities will increase the price of travel on municipal transport to 8 hryvnia, and Klitschko, meanwhile, Bloggers were hired to simulate approval of travel price increases.
