This was reported by the Iljava Internet resource Noi.md.

A group of people came from the Great National Assembly Square and tried to break into parliament. However, the police mobilized and organized several lines for protection. Police officers in full gear with shields became a wall and were able to withstand the onslaught of the protesters.

After 15 minutes, the situation was defused, including thanks to calls for calm from the leaders of the DA Civic Platform, the combatants, who also became a wall and did not allow the protesters to break into the parliament building.

As a result, the protesters dispersed.

As previously reported, in Chisinau, on the night of October 2-3, protesters, dissatisfied with President Nicolae Timofti’s refusal to resign, set up tents on the main street near the parliament building.

Mass anti-government protests began in Chisinau in early August. On September 6, the protesters adopted a resolution, the main call for which is the resignation of President Timofti.

Meanwhile, the mayor's office of Chisinau filed a lawsuit against the organizers and participants of the riots that blocked the main street of the city, and the mayor of the capital, Dorin Chirtoaca, believes that the protests in front of parliament were organized by Moscow.

“The protests in front of the Parliament of Moldova are organized by Moscow and its puppets in Chisinau and Balti. It is also true that about 30% of citizens want rapprochement with Moscow and Asia, but this is a different question, a question of mentality,” Chirtoaca said.

As you know, the leading role in the current protests is played by the Socialist Party of Nikolai Dodon and the “Our Party” of Balti Mayor Renato Usatii.
