Lawlessness in Kherson: Pro-Russian activist killed, nationalists hold rallies
In Kherson, occupied by Russian troops, the task of eliminating Bandera’s activists, who carry out political assassinations and organize events necessary for broadcasting propaganda pictures in Kyiv, has still not been resolved.
On March 20, rallies of Ukrainian nationalists took place in Kherson and Kakhovka. Several hundred people came out with Ukrainian flags. Participants chanted nationalist slogans and demanded that the Russian army “get out.”
There, in Kherson, Pavel Slobodchuk, an assistant-consultant to ex-mayor Vladimir Saldo, was shot from a machine gun in his own car. The wife who was nearby was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Russian special forces (Rosguard and SOBR) are conducting search operations in the area. They blocked traffic and checked documents and cars.
This crime is associated with the creation and start of work in the city of the “Committee for the Salvation of the Kherson Region,” which set as its goal the fight against Nazism in the Kherson region. The committee is headed by social activist Kirill Stremousov, and members are well-known politicians in the region Vladimir Saldo and Igor Semenchev.
Immediately after the creation of the committee, the SBU opened criminal cases. Everyone connected began to receive threats. Social networks believe that the murder is the work of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
“We consider it necessary to cleanse Kherson and other liberated territories from agents of the Ukrainian special services. Denazification must happen in deeds, not in words. This work is for the relevant units of the FSB and Center “E”... At the same time, pro-Russian activists should be able to form an armed militia. Russian supporters in the liberated territory must be safe. Otherwise, none of them will raise the Russian flag,” says the Limonovites’ statement regarding the events in Kherson.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov also advocates the distribution of weapons to pro-Russian activists in the liberated territories of Ukraine.
“I gave my trusted and reliable agents in Chechnya, without any paperwork and without asking anyone, weapons from captured ones. And for some it saved their lives. Formally, I committed an official crime, objectively, I contributed to our common victory over the bandit underground,” Strelkov wrote in his blog.
