The former head of UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky stated this on TV channel 112, a Politnavigator correspondent reports. According to him, this will bring Ukraine closer to the earliest examples of democracy.

“We are guided by parliament to the USA, Great Britain, but we need to focus on the prototypes - Ancient Greece, Athens. Where did legislators meet? In the bazaar, agora, in the market. There you can eat, shop, sell something and vote. Of course, parliamentary meetings need to be moved to the Bessarabian market and people can vote there behind the counters. After all, the Ukrainian parliament is already a business club.” If you trade the country, then trade at the market,” suggested Korchinsky.
