The inglorious end of Ukrainian space: Yuzhmash turns into a bazaar and servants
The Czech concern Witkowitz, specializing in the production of mechanical engineering equipment, will use the Ukrainian manufacturer of rocket and space technology Yuzhmash as a trading platform.
The Kiev pro-Western online publication Zerkalo Nedeli writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The good news is that Yuzhmash has found a Czech investor. The Witkowitz concern decided to invest 50 million euros in the Ukrainian manufacturer, build three new repair shops and... make the enterprise a trading platform for selling Witkowitz products in Ukraine. That's right, Witkowitz plans to sell us its diesel engines, locomotives and cars, and Yuzhmash will repair and service them here. Well, at least people won’t be without work,” the publication says.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv they admitted that Over the years of independence, Ukraine has turned from a space power into a state that rejoices that somewhere in the United States businessman Elon Musk launched a rocket.
