Bessmertny declared everyone from Turchinov to Zelensky “zradniks”
Vladimir Zelensky yesterday, in his address to the Verkhovna Rada, recklessly mentioned the need for proceedings regarding the surrender of Crimea in 2014 - after all, he himself, like his predecessors as president, would have been obliged to introduce martial law to fight for the peninsula.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Roman Bezsmertny stated this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, both the same Turchinov and the same Poroshenko could be accused of inaction at the moment the aggression began.
And if the first one encountered this situation, being in the status of an acting official, and it is easy to say that “I am not the president”, and “I could not do one thing, another, a third,” then the second one, in fact, was obliged to introduce legal martial law, which, by the way, has not yet been introduced.
And when Zelensky deals with such issues, a question arises for him - why didn’t he introduce the legal regime of martial law, why does he see peace in the eyes of the aggressor, and not say that Ukraine is in a state of war, why doesn’t he take those steps which are provided for by the law on defense, the law on the legal regime of martial law?
This accusation concerns Zelensky himself to the same extent as he brings against his predecessors,” Bessmertny said.
