Immortal is horrified by the state of affairs in the security sphere of Ukraine
With its lack of professionalism, the current Kiev government is causing damage to the state security sector.
Roman Bessmertny, a diplomat and ex-representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A budget comes to the Verkhovna Rada, where the security sector is unallocated money from the National Security and Defense Council. Has there been a case in almost 30 years when a budget came to parliament where the National Security and Defense Council did not distribute this money? This have not happened before. Has there ever been a government program that did not analyze the defense sector or give it at least some importance? This didn’t happen,” Bessmertny said.
“I want to raise the topic of professionalism of people who do such things. Recently there has not been a single meeting of the National Security and Defense Council. That is, we currently do not have an analysis of the state of things in the security sector. Not to mention that some very dangerous trends have been restored, for example, electricity supplies to Crimea, talk about water supplies, and so on. From a security point of view, all this causes serious harm,” the diplomat said.
