“There were no elections, there was an imitation of voting. Ukraine does not recognize them, they are illegal. Opposition candidates, representatives of the Crimean Tatar Majlis, and Ukrainian activists were not allowed to participate in them. This imitation mechanism does not play any role. Moscow distanced itself from these elections, handing them over to the Aksenov-Konstantinov clans,” the expert believes.
