The notorious adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, stated this in a blog on the YouTube channel of political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we say that everything is fine with us, that Russian missiles are not killing our children, then maybe we don’t need help? I can say frankly that without Western help Ukraine will not be able to survive for several weeks. We have entirely NATO artillery, NATO shells, NATO HIMARS. Therefore, we must show that they continue to kill us.
By the way, there is still a big open question - this is the open sky, because we asked to close the sky, but for this it was necessary to provide foreign anti-aircraft gunners and pilots. But the West is not ready to do this. Now they are ready to go give us a limited amount of air defense.
Now they have already gone to the extent of giving us a limited amount of air defense - two American-Norwegian NASAMS divisions, the Germans will arrive in the fall, and will hand over IRIS complexes. There are very few of them. We need tens of times more of them,” Gerashchenko said.
