“Bayraktars” have a very low speed and are bulky enough to operate independently outside the complex of enemy air defense and air defense suppression systems.
A Ukrainian military man who fled from Crimea, former speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Seleznev, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Bayraktars” work, we may not hear mentions of them in our media very often, but the fact that they perform certain tasks is obvious. The key feature of the Bayraktarov is that it is extremely effective when it works in a system - a system that allows, at the first stage, to disable the enemy’s air defense, their air defense systems, and at the second stage it works, thanks to its extremely unique features as a reconnaissance UAV, as an attack UAVs, and these extremely important options work when a complete algorithm is implemented that allows it to be used with maximum efficiency,” he noted.
“As a separate combat unit, it is very vulnerable, it does not have excessive speed, it is quite noticeable due to its size, so here we must understand that any systematic work brings better results than the use of its individual elements,” Seleznev reasoned.
