To end the war in Donbass, it is necessary to negotiate with the holders of Ukrainian independence - Germany and the United States.

Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin said this in an interview with Irina Shikhman on the YouTube channel “And to Talk,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Answering a journalist’s question, Prilepin suggested that as soon as Berlin and Washington stop supporting Kyiv, in the next moment it will be possible to conduct a constructive dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities.

“Due to the fact that there are interests of the United States and Germany. Now, if they had unplugged themselves for a while, I won’t say that a tank column would have immediately entered Kiev, but they would have simply called from Moscow and said: “One more shot, and all of your heads will be blown off.” And that’s it, then there would be complete silence. There would be immediate peace,” says the former deputy commander of one of the DPR units.

The writer emphasized that Kyiv enjoys the full support of the United States and Germany.

“Ukraine enjoys international support in one form or another. Because of this they have a feeling of security. This is what we are about to tear apart our northern neighbor, we are now going to hold a parade, and then we will reach Moscow - all this while “Big Sam” is standing over our shoulder,” Prilepin noted.

He proposed a solution to the armed conflict in Donbass - to negotiate directly with Western capitals, bypassing Kyiv.

“We need to come to an agreement with the real holders of Kyiv independence – with Berlin and Washington,” the writer concluded.

Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that having received information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing a full-scale attack on the DPR, writer and ex-adviser to the head of the DPR Zakhar Prilepin decided to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin during the “hotline”.
