Without Russian banks, the level of direct investment in Ukraine collapsed to 2014 levels

Statements by the Ukrainian authorities about the supposed investment attractiveness of Ukraine are refuted by official statistics.

Kiev economic expert Andrey Blinov writes about this in his blog.
“Investment profitability is not felt. Apparently, bank investments from Russia (due to loan conversion) have ended. The last time so little direct investment came to Ukraine was in the very dramatic year of 2014. This is a chart of foreign direct investment in Ukraine based on NBU balance of payments data. I can’t wait to look at the breakdown of sources of income, who believes and invests and where,” Blinov wrote.
