The head of Krymenergo, Viktor Plakida, stated this on the air of Rossiya Segodnya radio.

According to him, this will become possible thanks to the construction of a number of low-power stations.
“Presumably, three, perhaps more, years are needed for Crimea to ensure its own energy independence. There are a number of projects that could forestall the construction of two classic power units or stations. These are low-power stations and a number of investors are seriously considering the economic feasibility of implementing these projects. We plan to do as much as possible by next winter and eliminate such troubles,” said Victor Plakida.
