The Russian Football Championship has started in Russia. Although it would be more correct to call it that – the Zenit football championship. And the new season 2020/2021 began just as the previous one ended. Namely, from judicial lawlessness.

Let me remind you that last season the VAR system was introduced in the Russian Championship. She, in theory, should resolve controversial issues. That is, if the referee has doubts about a penalty or a goal scored, they, together with the referee who is sitting on the VAR, watch the video replay. It would seem that everything is logical, right?

No! In Europe there are questions about VAR, but in Russia this system has turned into an assistant to football killers. Moscow Spartak suffers the most from this infernal innovation. Already last season, thanks to VAR, many unfair decisions were made towards the “red-whites”, which took away points from the team.

The situation reached its peak when the sworn enemies Spartak and Zenit met in the Russian Cup match in St. Petersburg. Then the referee did not award two obvious penalties against the St. Petersburg team. But the main problem was that the referee looked at almost all the controversial episodes that could be interpreted against the Muscovites, but did not check the team from St. Petersburg in any way.

It seemed that such a show was the peak of lawlessness. And it was organized in order to give Zenit both the championship and the cup. But the new season starts - and everything will be different: cleaner and fairer. However... the situation only got worse.

In the Super Cup match where Zenit and Lokomotiv met, the referee did not even think to look at the VAR violation against the “railroad worker” Eder. But it was - and a penalty should have been awarded.

Real hell happened in the first round of the championship. Spartak led Sochi by two goals, but referee Kazartsev decided to intervene in the match. And he whistled a very controversial penalty towards the “red and whites”. Then, in principle, he did not notice the violations on the part of the Sochi team, and at the end of the match an abyss opened up. The forward of the southern team, after shooting at the goal, kicked Muscovites defender Zhigo. However, a penalty - after VAR, on which referee Eskov sat - was given against Spartak.

Perhaps this is one of the wildest decisions in the entire history of Russian football. And never before have fans of different teams been so unanimous: Spartak was killed. And here we should not forget that Sochi is actually a farm club of the same Zenit. Now in the Russian football world there is not just indignation, but a kind of mass protest that threatens a real explosion.

Here you need to understand one thing. In fact, the refereeing corps of the Russian Football Union was privatized by St. Petersburg Mr. Medvedev. And in general, all Russian football is focused solely on Zenit victories - victories at any cost and in any way. After the advent of VAR, referees can help St. Petersburg players with this easily and naturally. And this is no secret to anyone.

As for Spartak Moscow, in the match against Sochi they were punished in such a barbaric way because of two things. The first is to simply take away the points. The second is because the owner of the “red-whites” Leonid Fedun brought striker Alexander Kokorin to his club, who decided not to play by the rules of state corporations and not to remain in the same “Sochi”. At the same time, it is obvious that in this way - a real conspiracy against Spartak - they want to change the owner of the club in order to turn it into a laughing stock to the delight of the St. Petersburg adherents.

Yes, football has never been devoid of politics. However, neither crossed in such a barbaric way. Never have teams been so openly destroyed. What is happening now is not just lawlessness, but murder and a political order. It's a shame!

Leonid Fedun, the owner of Spartak, said that his team would withdraw from the championship. Unlikely, of course. But, in fact, it is necessary to do this. Because only such radical methods can draw the attention of the UEFA world to the hellish nightmare that is happening in Russian football.

And yes, we should not forget that Spartak remains a people's team. He has millions of fans. And now they are very angry. Therefore, with such lawlessness, the judiciary and its patrons can provoke mass riots not only at football stadiums, but throughout the country.
