Political scientist Yuriy Romanenko said this on air at UkrLife.
According to him, otherwise, Ukraine, like the UPR in its time, will disappear from the map for a hundred years.
“Literally a few days ago there was an event dedicated to the publication of Hetman Skoropadsky’s memoirs. This is a brilliant book that should be read by all Ukrainian politicians and, in general, by all people who are interested in why everything happens exactly the way it does and why in a hundred years we have made a full circle and are floundering in exactly the same problems in which we were floundering in exactly a hundred years. years ago our ancestors.
Schematically, everything is very similar - external control, the top, which is encapsulated in itself, the masses, which are encapsulated in themselves and have an inadequate idea of what our country is, its real capabilities, an aggressive external environment, the absence of a strong power bloc, the absence of a clear picture the world and, accordingly, their capabilities. And, as a result, the country is left alone with its problems and external opponents, and quickly collapses. As soon as external support leaves, the state quickly collapses, falls into the hands of social populists, who within a few weeks lose everything and everyone, and, in general, the UPR, as a project, disappears for almost a hundred years,” Romanenko said.
In essence, Romanenko is campaigning for a harsh military dictatorship under a “national” flag, which would suppress possible social protests.
