An ex-minister who fled Crimea called on Zelensky to spoil the peninsula in a new way
Ukraine should send its delegations to various tourism exhibitions and try in every way to disrupt the season in Crimea, talking about the dangers of visiting the peninsula under Russian rule.
This was stated on NV radio by the fugitive ex-Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, Alexander Liev, who in 2014 supported the referendum, and then, when he did not find a place in the new government, left for Ukraine, turning into an independent patriot, reports correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“Ukraine would need to communicate, and I addressed this to both the presidential representative in Crimea, who is now working in the Kherson region, and the new Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. We would need to take part in tourism exhibitions around the world and explain to citizens and tour operators of other countries that entering Crimea is dangerous.
Not only is it prohibited, but also dangerous - there are no institutions there that can pay you insurance, that can take responsibility for your health or solve some even everyday problem with the police or someone else, because not a single institution operates there , which would be recognized in the world,” Liev said.
Thank you!
