An extremist who fled Crimea makes excuses that he is not going to be a traitor
Mejlis functionary Riza Asanov, who participated in actions related to the trial of detained Ukrainian sailors and who was allegedly beaten during filming of the construction of the Tavrida highway on January 2 of this year, decided to leave Crimea.
He stated this on UATV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The activist argues that he had to leave the peninsula because of his pro-Ukrainian activities. In Kyiv, he joined the rest of the members of the extremist Mejlis and promises to spoil Russia from the “independence” territory.
“What good is a dead patriot for the homeland? I am a fighter, many believe that I left Crimea only because there was an attack. No. Five people close to me are in prison. Having abandoned the fight for them, for their freedom, I will betray them. I will fight to the end,” Asanov said.
Previously Asanov stated that near Belogorsk he was attacked by "people with special physical skills."
