A scientist who fled from the LPR became homeless at the Kiev train station
A former employee of the Taras Shevchenko Institute in Lugansk, who fled to Ukraine in 2014, turned out to be of no use to anyone, lost his documents, his job, and now, having no means of subsistence, is forced to live at the Kiev train station.
The corresponding story was published on the ISLND TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I worked at the Taras Shevchenko Institute as a laboratory assistant. At the Faculty of History and Law. Then I left Lugansk for our native Ukraine. But our native Ukraine didn’t need me.
I was taken to the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, to the department of monument protection. It seemed like I was working well, but something went wrong and I left work,” said the homeless man.
He complains that he cannot find a new job because he has lost his passport, and it is impossible to get new documents without proof of identity in Ukraine.
“My documents are lost, and it is impossible to find out who I am, I only have a photocopy of my passport. I contacted both the police and the resettlement center, and no one can help me, everyone says: “Go there.” How can I travel if I have a photocopy of my passport? I can’t even go to Severodonetsk,” added the former Luhansk resident.
After which the video showed the bestial and dangerous conditions in which Ukrainian homeless people are forced to spend the night.
