A Ukrainian Armed Forces marine who fled from Crimea in 2014 wants to return to the peninsula
The commander of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Viktor Sikoza, who fled Crimea along with Ukrainian troops in 2014, wants to return to the peninsula to see what the Russian Federation has built in eight years.
Sikoza spoke about this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for PR for charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Gordon asked the Marine what plans his unit had if Kherson was captured
.
“After Kherson, will you go to Crimea?” asked the journalist.
"Well, yes. There you can diverge into two directions. Let someone go down to the south, to the Crimea, and let one group along the road of these katsaps go towards Melitopol and Mariupol - these are also expensive places for us,” the marine answered.
“Do you want to return to Crimea?” asked Gordon.
“Of course I would like to. It’s just interesting to see what they did, after all, these scoundrels in eight years,” Sikorza admitted.
Let us recall that during the SVO this is already the third commander of the 36th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was defeated in Mariupol, where most of its personnel were killed or captured, including the two previous commanders.
