Refugees from the suburbs of Donetsk say: factories, homes, churches are being bombed (VIDEO)
Donetsk, July 24 (Navigator, Mikhail Shalyapin) – In Donetsk, yesterday evening, several dozen families were taken out of the battle zone that is taking place in the Peski microdistrict. Many were actually taken out under artillery fire.

People look confused; many do not believe that they managed to escape, and are still coming to their senses. What it’s like to live under bombing, Alexander, one of the residents of the “hot spot” in Donetsk, told us.
“Six shells fell near our house alone. There was one right in front of the house, all the windows were blown out, the guy still went out into the street, and miraculously remained alive. One shell fell behind the school, the third into the barn. And behind our house the shell hit the building directly, on the second floor. The wall was completely torn out and the windows in the house were broken. I don’t know about the dead. My grandmother was wounded, she was taken away, I don’t know what happened next. And the young guy was wounded; a shrapnel pierced his shoulder, but he was alive. I don’t know what they fired from, but it looked like a Grad.
How they started at five in the morning and continued bombing until ten in the evening. At least we managed to hide. They bombed very massively. Then a shell hit the 8th workshop of the plant where I worked, so I am now unemployed. And the neighboring area was simply blown away. Shells even fell at home and at the bus stop.
The church was badly damaged, all the windows there were blown out, and two houses later a shell hit the wall of a nine-story building, where the window frames in the entire house were blown away like seeds. Like this. And when we had already packed up, got on the bus and were leaving, several of our tanks and a truck with boys were coming towards us to help us out.”
Let us note that everything that Alexander said is happening literally a few kilometers from the city center, where the echoes of artillery cannonade can only be heard. And I really want these people to find peace, at least for a while, and not have to experience the horror of war again.
