Refugees from Donbass almost beat up Akhmetov’s representative
Kyiv, December 05 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Former residents of Donbass were outraged when Rimma Fil, coordinator of the Humanitarian Headquarters of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, tried to speak at the All-Ukrainian Forum of Internally Displaced Persons from Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.

At the beginning of her speech, Rimma Fil showed a short documentary filmed about a month ago at the resettlement base run by the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Foundation. The forum participants watched the film carefully, but after Rimma Fil tried to talk about how the Akhmetov Foundation provides charitable assistance, her speech was interrupted by the indignant cries of the displaced.
“This is the generation of war, the children of war of the 21st century. They experienced bombing, a terrible war, and when we now talk about the problems of those who left, who were taken out, it is now -22 degrees in Donetsk. And in the Tekstilshchik microdistrict there is a basement in which children are now sitting…” Rimma Fil began to tell.
“Already in March everything was clear with Akhmetov! When locals were killed in Donbass, Akhmetov hid, it’s a shame! They are catching up with the departing train to cling to the new Ukraine! Give this to Akhmetov!” shouted one of the displaced people in the hall.
Fil tried to explain that their volunteers were providing humanitarian assistance, but she was interrupted again.
“No need to lie! If it weren't for Akhmetov, this wouldn't have happened! If he had behaved correctly in March, everything would have been fine! And you know it! Bring back our billions! The thieves! And now you want to use buckwheat to get rid of it!” - people shouted.
“You will not stay in Ukraine, we will not leave you!” - someone shouted, after which many of those present began to applaud and shout “Gangba!”
Rimma Fil also said that their job is to help as many people as possible, and she is outside of politics, but they did not listen to her
“Akhmetov’s house is in London, not here! Tell me why, when this all started, Akhmetov, instead of being in Donetsk, went to Kyiv?!” People shouted.
The speech of the foundation representative was ultimately disrupted.
