According to the chairman of the Barvenkovsky district state administration, Mark Becker, during the entire existence of the camp (since July 7, the security forces planned to organize a green corridor for displaced people), not a single resident of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions arrived in the tent city.
“Today we are already starting to close down the town, and we will move it further to the Donetsk region,” noted Mark Becker.
It is not yet known where exactly the tent camp for displaced people will be set up.
Let us remind you that a tent city for 300 places was installed in the city of Barvenkovo, Kharkov region, on the border with the Donetsk region (170 kilometers from Kharkov), deployed after the statement by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov about the organization of a humanitarian corridor for residents of Donbass.
It was planned that they would register displaced people there, provide medical care and assistance in moving and finding housing in other regions of Ukraine.
