Impunity only provokes Russia's enemies to new terror - political scientist
Russia, turning a blind eye to the demolition of monuments in former Soviet republics, the murder of officials of military-civil administrations in the liberated territories of Ukraine and other attacks, provokes an increase in such actions.
Political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov, who was previously associated with law enforcement agencies, stated this on air on the Zvezda Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, impunity, which is formed thanks to such a soft position of Russia, plays against it.
“When the demolition of the monument in Narva goes unpunished, the Latvian Nazis even more barbarically take and demolish the Memorial to the Liberation of Latvia from Nazism in Riga. And, you see, nothing happens, we cultivate in our enemies, the real ones, this feeling of ease.
A series of terrorist attacks are taking place across all liberated territories, representatives of military-civil administrations are being killed every day, not a single DRG has been caught. We are creating this unnecessary culture of irresponsibility and impunity. It seems to me that this is more important,” Karnaukhov emphasized.
