The indifference of Russian officials gave Bandera and liberals a trump card
The meeting of political prisoners released from Ukrainian prisons - participants in the Russian Spring - was held in Moscow more than modestly. If in Kyiv the board was met by President Vladimir Zelensky, then in the Russian capital the most famous public figure was TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov. Such indifference of Russian officials was a real gift for Bandera propaganda and local liberals.
“Our people were met in Boryspil by the head of state. Nobody met them at Vnukovo. Is it necessary to explain who in this war is tremblingly defending what is theirs, and who is cowardly coveting someone else’s?” – said one of the main instigators of Euromaidan, ex-member of the Rada Mustafa Nayem.
Journalist Maxim Ravreba, who was forced to leave Kyiv, draws attention to the fact that Ukrainian citizens released today should, without wasting time, start preparing documents to legalize their status in the Russian Federation.
“Citizens of Ukraine who were exchanged have 90 days to stay on the territory of the Russian Federation,” Ravreba recalls about cases of deportation of participants of the Russian Spring to Ukraine after violating migration laws.
“It is very pleasant to see thirty-five Russian political prisoners at large, but one cannot help but notice our eternal, our bitter, our state misfortune. In Kyiv, those liberated by Moscow are greeted as national heroes. Meets the entire leadership of the country.
In Moscow, those liberated by Kiev are greeted by emptiness. Kirill Vyshinsky alone, since his status is almost equal to that of an official, is popular with several journalists. The rest - God forbid that they at least be ordered to fill out the paperwork in a special order so that their homeland does not send them back,” agrees Russian publicist Dmitry Olshansky.
