Beeline refused to work in Crimea
The leading Russian operator PJSC VimpelCom, which provided mobile communication services under the Beeline brand, as before, does not plan to operate in Crimea. This can be judged based on the letter from the Director for Operator Activities of VimpelCom PJSC Marina Allagulova in response to a request from the deputy of the Simferopol City Council of the Republic of Crimea Stepan Kiskin.

“In response to your request, I inform you that VimpelCom PJSC does not have licenses to provide communication services in the territory of the Republic of Crimea,” the mobile operator said in its response.
“Beeline” patriotism and love for the Motherland fit into one sentence. VimpelCom is behaving just as unpatriotically as MegaFon and other operators who do not want to enter the peninsula’s mobile communications market. The Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol are regions of Russia, where, like throughout the country, leading mobile operators should operate,” the deputy believes.
