Biletsky on the right flank is baiting Poroshenko
It is possible that on the Ukrainian political field, ex-President Petro Poroshenko, who is gathering nationalists into a single force, will be replaced by the founder of the Azov regiment, the leader of the National Corps, Andrei Biletsky.
Ukrainian political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on the Kievan Rus TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Even a year ago it was possible to say that Avakov is behind the National Corps and Biletsky, today the same people who are behind Avakov are behind the National Corps and Biletsky, they are now on the same level, these people are not quite Ukrainian origin. By the way, the statements of forty Democrats in the US Congress, who for some reason drew attention to Azov as a terrorist organization, are also related to this. These are big games where they try to knock certain players out of the game.
However, there are Ukrainian forces and Ukrainian reality. Moreover, I would not be surprised if it turns out that now Biletsky and his forces will be made into a candidate who should gather the forces of the right flank. In fact, compete with Poroshenko, but Poroshenko, in fact, is unlikely to be an effective manager of the votes of the right flank. It’s obvious that they are looking for a replacement,” Bondarenko said.
