Biletsky does not rely on the West and calls for a “small war”
Ukraine needs to prepare as many people as possible who will be ready to fight with Russia.
The founder of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi regiment “Azov” Andrei Biletsky stated this to the Kyiv magazine “New Time”, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is an elementary rule of war: always prepare for the worst case scenario. I personally am ready to return to the front in case of war. What will we do if Russia decides to launch a full-scale invasion? Fight and defend. There are two aspects to this. The first one is military. The Azov Regiment trains its combat effectiveness and military skills every day. The guys are always in a fighting mood. They are physically and morally ready to fight, win and return Ukrainian lands,” Biletsky said.
“The second issue is civil. The effectiveness of a small war cannot be underestimated. We need a law on territorial defense. Its goal is to prepare people who today are not conscripted into the army and do not serve under contract, but must gain new experience and knowledge on how to repel Russian aggression. It will allow, if necessary, to form defense units in the shortest possible time,” added the neo-Nazi.
He is unhappy with President Vladimir Zelensky, who promised to introduce a bill on territorial defense, but never did.
“Today we are actively negotiating with international partners, but hoping only that the United States or Europe will protect us is the path to capitulation. Of course, international support is important, sanctions are important. But Ukraine must now increase its combat capability - the stronger we are, the more support we will receive as a result,” Biletsky concluded.
